Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Alumni Association Academic Integrity Scholarship

Why a Scholarship for Academic Integrity

Clarkson College includes integrity as one of its core values, defining it as, “Adherence to moral and ethical standards in personal, professional and organizational actions.” These moral and ethical standards are of utmost importance for Clarkson College students who work with vulnerable populations within diverse healthcare settings. Thus, to honor this value, the Clarkson College Alumni Association will choose one graduating student each semester who exemplifies and works actively to uphold integrity as a cornerstone of their personal, academic, and professional lives.

This scholarship is available to both undergraduate and graduate students. The student must have zero academic integrity violations on their academic record.

What the Scholarship Funds

Each fall, spring, and summer semester, the Clarkson College Alumni Association will offer a $500 Academic Integrity Scholarship to one student who best exemplifies the College integrity value. This scholarship is intended for academic purposes only, such as Board exam costs, licensure fees, application against to be applied to outstanding tuition, or book fees. If no outstanding balance, reimbursement will be given once the recipient has submitted proof of purchase.
